Heavy rainfall today created a torrent of mud that careened through Hydra, a small Greek island's port town dragging chairs, tables and even a boat along its path.
Located south of Athens, the popular tourist destination of Hydra is so small that cars are not allowed on the island.
Hydra's streets turned into rivers as the water tore through the lower levels of houses and flooded the cobblestone harbor. The water's force was so strong as to create waves, and to drag furniture and boats with it.
Residents filmed the destruction, posting the videos on social media.
