Biskuttini (Maltese biscuits) produced by Leo Confectionery must not be consumed by persons allergic to peanuts, due to the presence of traces of peanuts which are not declared on the label, the health authorities said.

The packets have a best before date of 30/01/2016.

The company involved has been instructed to re-label the product.

The authorities also issued a similar warning about bacon flavour wheat potato snacks by Bacos, Potato Chips (Salt & Vinegar), Cheese & Onion Pops
(Scotts Mans) and Cocktail Snack (Multi taste Snacks).

Another health warning was issued in relation to Noxpump pre-training formula (Dorian Yates), which contained a methyl-synephrine and phenethylamine derivative. These was unauthorised in food supplements.
