The average number of out of stock medicinals has been reduced from 130 items to just under 40, Health Minister Godfrey Farrugia said in Parliament this evening.

He also said that the customer care unit of the Pharmacy of Your Choice Scheme received an average of 180 calls daily from people complaining about medicines, but given that there were 118,000 customers, amounted to 0.16 per cent, he said.
