Reigning champion Lewis Hamilton qualified in pole position for tomorrow's Australia grand prix with a dominant qualifying session in Melbourne this morning.

Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg was second, half a second behind, and Felipe Massa third for Williams in the hugely predictable session.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was fourth.

The McLarens of Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen start dead last with the Honda-power car having, in testing, shown lack of reliability and speed.
