Admissions to the Natural History Museum at Mdina are at half price up to March 27 , Heritage Malta said.
Entrance costs €2.50 for adults and is free for children under 12 on Saturday and Sundays.
The museum is housed in a magnificent palace at the right of the entrance of Mdina. It is the national repository of biological specimens and represents both life and earth sciences.
The Museum's reference collection holds over 10,000 rocks and minerals, over 3,500 birds, birds’ eggs and nests, 200 mammals, over 200 fish species, thousands of local and exotic shells and insects. The fossil collection contains a number of large fish, numerous species of sea urchins and other marine fauna found embedded in limestone rocks.
