The Occupational Health and Safety Authority has published guidelines on work in the sun and heat.

The guidelines speak about the effects of heat and the sun on workers and their dangers. They also include information on heat stress, UVA and UVB rays and the UV index.

OHSA CEO Mark Gauci said that work in the sun, especially for an extended period of time, could have negative effects because of the heat or sun rays.
