Greece coach Otto Rehhagel reshuffled his team for this evening's match against Russia.

He decided against a five-man defence in favour of a three-pronged attack in a 4-3-3 formation, bringing in attacking defender Christos Patsatzoglou in place of midfielder Giorgios Karagounis and leaving Paraskevas Antzas out of the side.

Striker Nikos Liberopoulos starts in place of Fanis Gekas and Yannis Amanatidis joins him in attack alongside Angelos Haristeas. Greece lost their first match 2-0 to Sweden.

Russia coach Guus Hiddink made two changes to the team torn to shreds in a 4-1 defeat by Spain, bringing in defender Sergei Ignashevich for Roman Shirokov and midfielder Dmitry Torbinsky for Dmitry Sychev in a 4-5-1 formation.

Striker Roman Pavlyuchenko was named in the starting lineup after recovering from a thigh problem, a relief for the Russians who were already without suspended playmaker Andrei Arshavin and injured striker Pavel Pogrebnyak, who is out of the tournament.
