On the first day of August, I had the pleasure of attending the Oratorio - San Pawl ta' Malta.

I attended on the invitation of the Istitut Soċjo-Kulturali San Pawl as I would not normally attend such events, even though I enjoy listening to classical music.

I would like to thank the Istitut Soċjo-Kulturali San Pawl for organising this evening at Our Lady of Sorrows parish church in St Paul's Bay and for their work in promoting Pauline traditions.

Congratulations to all involved in the oratory, The Collegium Musicum Choir and Orchestra, the composer Charles Camilleri and author Oliver Friggieri.

I felt proud to be Maltese and to enjoy this classical evening dedicated to the most important Christian episode in Maltese history.
