On Thursday December 7, the 4th edition of the Malta International Organ Festival reaches its climax at St Augustine’s Parish Church in Valletta.

The grand finale of this 3-week long festival will promise the public a fantastic program of works for solo organ by Bach and organ and orchestra by Handel, Telemann, and Mozart.

The musicians chosen by the artistic director Joseph Lia are Marco D’Avola from Sicily as the organist, Brendan Ball from UK as the solo trumpet in Telemann’s concerto for Trumpet, continuo and Orchestra, and Riccardo Bianchi from Italy as the conductor of the Valletta Chamber Orchestra, which orchestra has now become the resident orchestra of this festival.
