More than 78.23% of candidates were successful in their advanced matriculation exams while  82% passed their intermediate exams, the Education Ministry said today.

Grades of between A and E  are considered a pass, but for some courses, grades of between A and C are required.

At intermediate level, 82% achieved grades of between A and E while 51% achieved grades of between A and C, the ministry said.

At advanced level, 48.41% achieved grades of between A and C and 78.23% got grades of between A and E.

The ministry said these were good results which opened the doors for the students to advance and specialise.
