Joseph Scicluna, writes:

The life span of Grace Scicluna stretched itself almost 85 years, ending a little before midnight on March 27.

Throughout her life Grace was always intent on giving a shining example.

Grace dedicated decades of her life encouraging students to have a good education and teachers, as well as legions of adults, cannot but speak highly of her. It was, however, her parents' home that was the focus of her activity which she called a labour of love. Being the only girl among six children, Grace was adored by both her mother and her father. Indeed, this darling daughter more than returned her parents' love. As for her brothers, including me, we owe much to Grace for her sisterly devotion. She sacrificed a lot for her brothers.

On my parents' death, Mons. Carmelo Scicluna, one of my brothers, was my sister's confidant and comforter. When Grace's health started failing, it was my brother Carmelo who helped her find a fount of solace in religion, in beseeching God and Holy Mary to stand by her. How sterling was his service, especially in our sister's later days and, of course, in the supreme moments when Grace was a moribrund.

Relying on God, Grace experienced a painless, peaceful death while her soul whisked heavenwards for the due reward of an everlasting life of bliss. To lie in peace and bliss had been my sister's wish to God who, in His goodness, is sure to grant Grace Scicluna, the prayer of a humble servant.

Her next of kin, friends, distant relations and acquaintances mourn over Grace Scicluna whose dear loss will ever be fresh and loving in our memory and in our prayers.
