The government is still evaluating the situation with regard to the BOV Multi Manager Property Fund and will take its decisions at the appropriate time, Finance Minister Edward Scicluna said this evening.

He was replying to a parliamentary question by Francis Zammit Dimech, who pointed out that two years ago, the Labour Party in its electoral programme had promised investors a just solution.

Dr Zammit Dimech also asked whether it was true that the Bank of Valletta chairman first agreed that the issue be resolved through arbitration, and then changed his position.

The minister did not comment.
