Ninety-two per cent of Drama Centre students sitting for the London Academy of Arts examination obtained a distinction, the Education Ministry said.

The results are recognised by the Malta Qualifications Council .

The ministry that 18 student sat for the Certificate in Performing Arts and Diploma in Performing Arts examination.

Education Minister Dolores Cristina hoped the students would continue to specialise in their field.

The government had launched scholarships to assist such students earlier this year and the first beneficiaries were to be announced later this month, she said.
