The Fort Cambridge project in Tigné was recently promoted at two international property exhibitions in Moscow and St Petersburg. The Moscow exhibition was held at the Crocus Expo Centre between November 26 and 29 while the St Petersburg fair was held at the Manege between the December 3 and 6.

The Fort Cambridge project was the only Malta development to be exhibited at both fairs alongside large-scale projects from Italy, France, Germany, Turkey, Spain, Morocco, Egypt, Thailand, Slovenia and Bulgaria. The Fort Cambridge stand was manned by GAP Holdings director Paul Attard and sales and marketing manager Christopher Gauci accompanied by the project representative in Moscow. A large scale model of the project was also exhibited on the stand.

On his return from Moscow, Mr Attard said: "The project was extremely well received in both Moscow and St Petersburg. We had a number of enquiries from both individuals and corporate organisations, some of whom have enquired about the possibility of travelling to Malta in the beginning of next year. Our response from this market has encouraged us to participate in a similar fair in Moscow next March."

A company statement said: "Presently works on the Fort Cambridge project are moving at a very fast pace and the shell structure of the fifth and sixth floor apartments is underway."

There are approximately over 160 construction workers on site and another 50 workers consisting of tradesmen such as plumbers, electricians, plasterers and tile layers.
