Prime minister Lawrence Gonzi has rejected claims that the game is over, despite polls showing the PN trailing in the polls, saying a large section of undecided voters will decide the outcome.

He also told The Sunday Times in an interview that should the PN by re-elected, Simon Busuttil will be appointed to address the interface between the people and the government.

Joseph Muscat tells the newspaper in another interview that the PL will this week publish the outcome of talks it has held with the hunters' federation.

Dr Gonzi says the country should not be entrusted to people who made mistakes even in Opposition, while Dr Muscat argues that the PL will bring a change in economic direction based on public-private partnerships.
