GO television customers have the opportunity to enjoy all the sporting action on GO sports for free until Monday, as part of a free open viewing period.

Sports available this weekend include the kick off of the English football season - the Community Shield match between Chelsea and Manchester United. The match will be shown on Sunday at 4 p.m.

GO television viewers can enjoy also the content of the Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Juventus, Inter and Roma channels. The Milan channel would be available soon.

GO said that on August 14, the English Premier League would kick off exclusively on GO sports, whilst the Italian Serie A started on August 28.

Currently, football lovers who subscribed to GO sports had the chance to take part in a competition and win two match tickets of their choice - either the Barclays Premier League or Italian Serie A for season 2010/11.

Besides the football match tickets, the prize covered airline tickets, including taxes and fuel charges, for two people, and free accomodation for up to two-nights.

The competition is open to new and existing customers who subscribe to the GO sports Premium monthly and/or yearly package before August 31.
