On the occasion of this weekend's IT&T Fair, Go Mobile has launched two new services linked to its range of MMS services - Go Live!

Users can print their MMS photos by sending them via MMS to Agfa, Fuji, Kodak or Konica; and they can send MMS from MyGo.

To print MMS photos, users can send photos to an MMS number and the cost of the print is automatically deducted from their account. Go Mobile clients can send their photos via MMS to these numbers: 5700 (to send to Agfa), 5710 (Fuji), 5720 (Kodak) and 5730 (Konica).

Each print costs 26c. Once the printing company receives the job and prints the photo, it will send an SMS to the Go Mobile client informing him/her from where to pick up their photo.

MMS photos should be saved to the best quality possible before sending them for printing. The print quality can vary according to camera resolution.

The MMS Compose facility from MyGo allows Go Mobile users to send MMS images to other Go Mobile users directly from Go Mobile's popular Web portal, MyGo (www.go.com.mt/mygo).

After logging on to MyGo, and clicking on the MM store icon, users will enter a window that will allow them to upload any image less than 50K from their computer and send it to any Go Mobile number.

If the end user has an MMS phone, he or she can view it directly from their MMS mobile phone. Alternatively, Go Mobile users can still view the MMS photos they receive by visiting MyGo.

"Both the MMS printing and MMS composing facilities are two add-ons to the already popular Go Live! range of services," Go Mobile media relations executive Franco Aloisio said.

"These services are convenient and give Go Mobile users added accessibility to MMS. We invite the public to visit our stand at the IT&T Fair to try out these services."

Meanwhile, Go Mobile has reducing the price of two MMS phones. The Sagem myX-6 is now selling at Lm99 while the Panasonic GD87 is selling at Lm179.
