Duo Pack

GO's COO, Norbert Prihoda, said GO was the first communications provider in Malta to offer fixed line internet for free. When announcing the Duo Pack, he said this new package built on the strengths of other highly successful packages launched by GO, namely Home Pack and Business Pack. Duo Pack gives customers the convenience of one package containing internet connectivity as well as unlimited GO-to-GO fixed line calls with Talk Anytime and the added convenience of one bill.

Duo Pack is selling at the price of the Talk Anytime monthly rate of only €9.99 per month for the first six months, during which customers get their internet for free, apart from the unlimited phone calls to other GO numbers. After the first six months, Duo Pack is charged at €19.99. In addition, customers who subscribe early can get €10 off from a Philips cordless phone.

Mr Prihoda announced also new ‘On The Move' data/ internet rates which have been simplified and which allow customers to access the internet from all devices - from a Web-enabled mobile phone, to PDAs, BlackBerry smartphones, laptops, netbooks and other handheld devices.

Mr Prihoda said the rates start from €5.99 a month and provide customers with various monthly bundles - up to 7GB a month. In addition, customers can opt to purchase additional bundles starting from €1 per 20MB if you are on the EUR 5.99 plan and from EUR1.75 for 200 MB if you are on the higher plans. The per MB rate goes as low as 0.78c/MB. In addition, GO announced also that subscribers of the On The Move tariffs can get free unlimited access to several popular web and WAP sites until 31 January 2010. These include, amongst others: ebay, facebook, myspace, twitter, linkedin, tagged, hi5, flickr and yahoo. The free usage applies when such sites are accessed through the web or WAP browser, and not through any downloadable applications.
