GO plc said today that it has improved its TV channel line-up by adding FOXlife and FX. They will be launched on Monday featuring some of the world's best tv series including Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Family Guy, Flash Forward and Dirty Sexy Money.

Throughout December, FOXlife, viewed on channel 300, and FX (channel 301) will be available to all GO tv customers as a promotional open view period. As of 1 January, FOXlife and FX will be exclusively available on Gold+ tv line up including Home Pack 42 customers.

FX targets the male audience while FOXlife focuses more on women. FX will launch in other countries on the same date as it will be available to GO tv customers enabling local viewers to follow series from episode 1. FOXlife already distributes to Europe and will be scheduling catch-ups of the content that the channel carries for Maltese viewers.

"FOXlife is more than just a channel - it is way of life and guarantees top notch entertainment for every woman," GO said.

"Already present in more than 25 countries worldwide, FOXlife is the FOX International Channel's entertainment channel for women and the men in their lives. FOXlife hosts an eclectic mix of the best international fiction and reality programming designed to match the outlook and energy of its modern woman target. FOXlife mixes comedy, drama, scripted first-run series with FOX quality and feminine sensibility. Premium award winning international tv series and realities include the latest seasons of "Brothers and Sisters", "Desperate Housewives", "Grey's Anatomy", "Dirty Sexy Money", "Ghost Whisperer", "Castle" and much more."

FX, a high quality entertainment channel already distributed by FOX International Channels into over 51 million homes in 47 countries, targets a young audience, from 18 to 49 years old, mainly but not exclusively men, with huge international success premiering international drama fiction, sci-fi, reality and animation series such as "Flash Forward", "Crash", "Line of Fire", "Dollhouse" and "Battlestar Galactica", and classics such as "X-Files", "The Simpsons", and "Family Guy".

The best and most intoxicating reality series are also included, guaranteeing an adrenaline rush: "Amazing Race", "Dhani Tackles the Globe", "Bridget's Sexiest Beaches" or "I Can't Believe I'm Still Single". This content creates a programme mixture that makes FX the strongest male entertainment TV brand that GO tv subscribers can look forward to, the company said.

"We are delighted to be introducing these new high powered tv channels that will be available to all GO customers as an open view period throughout the month of December. The launch of FOXlife and FX is strongly in line with GO's ongoing drive to continue to enhance its television offering and ensure that it continues to meet the expectations of even its most discerning customers," said GO's tv Product Manager, Michèle Dandria.

"This is a unique chance for new and existing GO customers to make the most of an even better tv package while hugely enhancing their viewership experience with tv entertainment that is indisputably the best and most affordable in the market."
