Prince William and Kate Middleton’s engagement has been marked by commemorative coins, modern art and even limited edition beer.
Now the latest product to honour the couple has been announced – a pair of gnomes.
The garden ornaments have been styled as a diminutive couple on their wedding day but have not been modelled on William and Kate.
They both sport Union flag pointed hats and, while the groom has a long beard that flows over the front of his morning suit, his rosy-cheeked bride holds a posy of red and blue flowers.
The characters have been created by designers from DIY chain B&Q and the company’s garden equipment buyer Tom Kuhr said: “We expect demand for the gnomes to be very high as royal items are always sought after as a collectible item.
