GlobalCapital has launched an e-learning programme to support training and professional development in customer services. The programme was launched by GlobalCapital's human resources manager Anton Callus and Joanna Varrazzo, GlobalCapital's head of customer services.

The training modules were identified from the large library of e-learning programs available at a local software company. The software company's multi-modal learning solutions support and enhance the speed and effectiveness of learning processes.

The chosen e-learning sessions cover substantial areas of the customer service curriculum after which employees will be able to undertake an examination for each module covered. Following the completion of the syllabus, employees may sit for a City & Guilds exam.

GlobalCapital recently gained City & Guilds accreditation as a recognised training centre and plans to expand its in-house training in areas such as health and safety, train the trainer and sales and marketing.

Anton Callus, human resources manager said: "Technology is set to transform the way customer support personnel access high quality training materials both in and out of the workplace. E-Learning is planned to be at the forefront of this change and is set to provide a companywide e-learning programme to ensure that all employees continue to be trained to consistent and high standards while maintaining these standards throughout their professional careers with continuous learning processes". GlobalCapital is a leading provider of financial services company, founded in 1987, representing world renowned brands such as BUPA and British American Investment, operating through five offices in Malta and Gozo, together with a representative office in Libya.
