Gino Cauchi, a former Labour MP who failed to be re-elected on March 9, has been appointed CEO of the Labour Party.

He succeeds James Piscopo, who resigned after the election and has become CEO of Transport Malta.

Mr Cauchi is also a former Pembroke Mayor,  former journalist and news reader on PBS and former head of news at One Productions.
