Residents of a suburb of Brisbane in Australia say they are getting used to seeing a two metre tall kangaroo that has moved into the area, local media reported.

The big buck, thought to weight in at around 95kg is regularly seen in Northlake playgrounds and on the golf course, reports said.

"He's very intimidating. He's a big boy," said local resident Linda Hellyar, who nearly walked into him one day.

"He's got massive, massive muscles. Big pecs (pectoral) and everything," she said.

Smaller kangaroos are a regular sight on the golf course but such a large animal in a city suburb is unusual, local media said.
