Three Africans who had false documents in their possession were sentenced this afternoon.

18-year-old Prince Kwadwo Mensah, who was born in Offinso, Ghana but resides in St Paul’s Bay was accused of human trafficking and of falsifying or of having in his possession a false ID or a residence permit card. He was sent to jail for seven months.

The two Nigerians - 18-year-old Rose David born in the Delta State and another 16-year-old girl, both residing in Hal Far, were accused of falsifying or having in their possession false passports.

The 18-year-old got a seven-month jail term suspended to a year while the 16-year-old got a year’s jail term suspended to a year.
