Ghana have moved their World Cup base from the Roode Vallei Hotel in Pretoria to Sun City.

The Ghana Football Association did not go into details about the reason for the relocation, saying in a brief statement on their website, www.ghanafa.org, it was due to "unresolved technical issues" at the hotel.

The Black Stars begin their campaign against Serbia on Sunday, with tricky-looking Group D fixtures against Germany and Australia to follow.

But Ghana and Fulham defender John Pantsil believes their experience from 2006, when they reached the last 16 before losing to Brazil, can stand them in good stead.

He told Fulham's Fultime Magazine: "We were perhaps a little naive against the Brazilians but the squad is four years older now. We're wiser.

"A lot of the 2006 squad will be involved again, plus some very good young players that have shown a lot of promise. As they say, experience counts for a lot, and we have that now.

"When our strongest XI takes to the field, for me, we are a match for any team. On our day we can beat the best."
