Holders Għajnsielem knock out Nadur, face Qala in final GFA Cup holders Għajnsielem turned defeat into victory in last weekend's semi-final against Nadur Youngsters at the Gozo Stadium.
This tie produced its best football after the break. The Blacks will now face Qala St Joseph in the final as Nadur's chances of a double, following their Division One league title, petered out.
In the other semi-final, Qala had the better of Division Two champions SK Victoria Wanderers by the odd goal in five. The winners looked heading for a comfortable victory but the Wanderers hit back and almost forced extra-time.
In the meantime, Kerċem Ajax obtained a dramatic 3-2 victory over Xewkija Tigers in the play-off for a place in Division One next season to extend their stay in the top flight by another year.
For their part, SK Victoria Wanderers ended their commitments on an excellent note by collecting their third honour of the season in the shape of the Division Two Challenge Cup. In the final, SK Victoria Wanderers beat Żebbuġ Rovers 2-1.
