Northern Irish drivers are least likely to get romantic, with only 48% prepared to to get passionate in their motor.
Asked which car they thought would be best for some lovemaking, those polled opted first for a Volkswagen camper van, followed by a Rolls-Royce, an Aston Martin, a Land Rover Discovery and a Volvo Estate.
Elephant.co.uk managing director Brian Martin said: "I was surprised to see so many people admit they've used their cars in this way.
"The results show people's passion is a spur-of-the-moment thing - it seems some people just can't wait for the bedroom."
