Georgian leader Mikhail Saakashvili on Sunday claimed victory in Saturday's presidential election in the former Soviet state, brushing aside opposition accusations that the poll was rigged.
"According to the exit polls and all the data we have won," he told hundreds of cheering supporters at his campaign headquarters in central Tbilisi. "This was another victory for Georgia."
