I am grateful to the Mission Fund, Mosta for the generous donation of €2,000, which I have just received. This amount will allow me to continue helping our Christian poor children in their education. They come from poor families who earn very low salaries.

The children are clever and eager to learn. Being educated, they will be able to have a decent job and a better future.

I will also be helping a poor young man who wants to become a priest and is now attending the Major Seminary in Karachi.

The donations from my brothers and sisters in Malta and Gozo are of great value to those who have nothing. For us Maltese missionaries working in Third World countries, such generosity means support and encouragement. Our work is your work. I, therefore, appeal to readers to continue sending donations and used stamps to the Mission Fund, Eureka Court, Block A, Flat 6, Main Street, Mosta. MST 1018.

Donations can also be made online or by direct bank transfer to one of the following accounts: HSBC (no. 061 197 488 050 ), Bank of Valletta (no. 163 007 980 19), APS (no. 200 008 207 62) and Banif (no. 000 879 631 01).

More information is available at www.missionfund.org.mt.

With renewed thanks and prayers to our dear Mission Fund benefactors, alive and deceased.

I take this opportunity to wish everybody a happy, holy Christmas and a New Year filled with all God’s blessings.
