The Gaulitanus choir, which this year is celebrating its 20th anniversary, will open the fourth edition of its annual Eastertime festival with a sacred concert at St Augustine church, Victoria, on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Mendelssohn's enchanting motet Hear My Prayer - O For the Wings of a Dove and excerpts from his St Paul oratorio will be performed during the first part, while the second part will be devoted to Mozart's Coronation Mass.

Participating with the choir will be British soprano Sharon Wilson and the choir's own soloists mezzo-soprano Marthese Borg, tenor Joseph Calleja (not to be confused with his namesake) and bass Darren Vella. Stephen Attard will be on the organ. The concert will be conducted by Colin Attard.
