Sliema Wanderers defender Clifford Gatt Baldacchino has been suspended for two matches for his red card in the 1-1 draw against Floriana.

Gatt Baldacchino was sent off 14 minutes from the end of Sunday's Old Firm derby for teasing the Floriana bench during his team's goal celebrations.

Gatt Baldacchino's misdemeanour was brought to the attention of referee Marco Borg by Chris Lautier, the fourth official.

Hibs goalkeeper Mario Muscat was given a one-match ban after being dismissed in Saturday's 2-1 victory over neighbouring rivals Tarxien Rainbows for two yellow cards.

Valletta, who next play bottom team Dingli Swallows, had two players on the suspensions list, defender Luke Dimech and Cameroonian winger Doding Priso. The two have been punished after collecting their fourth yellow card in Saturday's 3-2 victory over Ħamrun Spartans.
