Heritage Malta has reconfirmed Gasanmamo Insurance as the official patron of the Palace Armoury, following the signing of another three-year agreement.
The insurance company has been affiliated with Heritage Malta since 2006, with most of the funds going towards the Palace Armoury to upgrade its displays and provide an educational experience to children, instilling in them a love for Maltese heritage.
Since then, the experience has been enhanced with 15 lifesize models in full armour. The Young Knights educational programme is also offered to students in secondary classes.
"This partnership endorses the company's objective to implement corporate social responsibility towards contributing to the restoration and preservation of our national heritage," said Albert Mamo, managing director of Gasanmamo Insurance.
Heritage Malta chairman Jos Said said: "The continuous support of Gasanmamo Insurance has helped our organisation upgrade its facilities while offering an educational experience to children."
