It is said that the local price of gas cylinders should be in line with UK prices for bottled gas, considering that there bottledgas is only used for recreational purposes, such as campingand barbecues – a big difference compared with using it for dailyliving.

Given the higher prices we have to pay for gas, people will start taking their Sunday pot roast to the local baker, as they did in the past, or even start lighting fires to cook their food.

There are some excellent wood-burning stoves on the market at present, and perhaps the government will give out two free sticks with every stove, so you can rub them together to light the fire.

And why is it nobody gets a receipt for the gas cylinders purchased?
