Foreign poker gamblers have accused the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of “gross negligence” claiming they have lost thousands of euros to an online company.

A few weeks ago, after a long investigation, the LGA, which regulates all gaming licences in Malta, suspended the trading licence of Everleaf Gaming Limited, an online gaming operator registered in Malta, following evidence of wrongdoing. However, foreign gamblers told Times of Malta that the LGA’s action came very late in the day, adding that their complaints had been completely ignored.

The authority said it is collecting information and further investigating the case.
