FXB has participated in the seventh edition of Libya Build 2010, an international building and construction exhibition held recently in Tripoli. The company's participation was supported by Malta Enterprise's ERDF funds.

FXB has worked in the Libyan market for over 12 years and has been involved in a number of commercial projects such as the Bab Africa and Bab el Bahar hotels and Palm City.

"This is a milestone achievement for FXB because, after proving our worth on large scale projects in a foreign market, this experience has given us ample knowledge to enable us to meet the expectations of the foreign corporate and private customer," said Joseph Borg, managing director of FXB Group.

"Notwithstanding the fact that we have been involved in the Libyan market for a number of years, as one of Malta's largest manufacturing companies, FXB still sees the potential of participating in fairs like Libya Build 2010 as these can lead to new commercial opportunities in the North African market.

In fact during this fair we had the possibility to evaluate a number of interesting prospects related to contracting," added Mr Borg.
