A rundown house in Philadelphia will have a festive funeral before it is knocked down.
The two-storey residence has had a host of owners and residents over the past century, but it has recently fallen into disrepair and became an eyesore in the city's impoverished Mantua section.
A cultural and memorial project called Funeral For A Home will celebrate its colourful life, featuring hymns and eulogies, followed by demolition. The "home-going" service will also include musicians, drill teams and a community meal.
