The full-time gainfully occupied population reached 150,717 in April, an increase of 1.4 per cent when compared to the corresponding month last year.
The National Statistics Office said that according to administrative data provided by the Employment and Training Corporation, people registered as having a full-time job increased by 2,103, or 1.4 per cent in one year. The registered unemployed went up by 188, or 2.9 per cent.
As a result, the labour supply during the period increased by 1.5 per cent, reaching 157,490.
