Week seven of the Middlesea League at the SuperBowl saw another 100 per cent victory for current leaders okmalta.com against relegation-threatened The Clan.

That puts ten points between them and second-placed Fina, who improved with a 6-2 win over bottom side Bank of Valletta. They are now level with Globalair Travel who lost 6-2 to fourth-placed Ramis.

Turu's Knights picked up all eight against Salitos last week, while PharmaVet got the better of HSBC in another 6-2 scoreline.

Okmalta.com are on a roll, and packing a very handy ten-point lead at the top of standings after another fine showing at the expense of The Clan.

The opening game was the tightest of the series, finally falling 684-693 to okmalta.com, who then went 4-0 up by taking game two 643-702.

A convincing 687-805 win in the third completed the full-point victory for the winners to increase their league lead.

Fina are back up to second place, but dropped two valuable points in their victory over Bank of Valletta. Fina opened strongly with a 690-799 win, and then doubled their lead with a 684-789 win in the second.

Fina needed all eight points and that was surely on the cards as game three rolled off, but Bank of Valletta bounced back for a 775-game, just ten better than Fina's 765 effort to steal their quarter share of the points.

Champions Ramis climbed back into the top four after beating Globalair Travel who dropped a place to third with the defeat.

Ramis's opener was the game of the week as they won it 839-764. Ramis claimed the series with a 30-pin advantage (2,348-2,318).
