Fujitsu has launched the new M2010 mini notebook that packs style and function into a small and affordable package. The M2010 is the first global mini notebook under the Fujitsu brand.

Based on Intel's Atom N280 processor, the M2010 is ideal for users who need a small and lightweight device for education, internet, e-mails or video-conferencing.

Fujitsu said the M2010 has passed the same quality tests as the top-class Lifebook series, including a general pressure tests, making it is a highly reliable companion on the move.

With its LED backlight panel, the Fujitsu M2010 offers better colour brilliance, higher brightness and more energy efficiency than its predecessor. For increased usability, Fujitsu's latest mini features a 10.1-inch display (instead of just 8.9-inch), while only weighing 1.2 kg at a size of 258 x 189 x 32-37 mm. Integrated webcam and microphone, as well as excellent speaker sound quality, complete the package.

The Fujitsu M2010 is available in three different colours: a stylish metallic red, a noble, sparkling black and a shiny and elegant pearl-white.

The company said that though it is a mini notebook at a very attractive price, the cover finish offers a premium look-and-feel.

Instead of using conventional painting to achieve the glossy surface, Fujitsu's developers came up with a method to process the material itself for the gloss that gives the Fujitsu M2010 a unique and elegant appearance of a high-end model.
