Archbishop Paul Cremona concelebrated Mass during a Marian celebration held at St Dominic’s Church Rabat to mark the feast of Our Lady of the Grotto.

The Curia said the church was packed with 'altar servers' - a change from 'altar boys' in view of the high number of girls who also took part.

They hailed from the Dominican churches of Rabat, Valletta and Guardamangia and other parishes in Rabat, Dingli, Birkirkara, Mtarfa and Baħrija.

The Archbishop told the children that the service they provided as altar servers was very similar to that of Our Lady with regards to service and love towards Jesus, the Curia said.
