Free influenza vaccinations will be administered at the health centre in Victoria from tomorrow.

Doors open between 8 a.m. and noon from Monday to Friday and between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturdays.

The vaccination is free for those over 55 and those suffering from chronic illness of the lungs, heart, liver or kidney, or from diabetes mellitus or any immunodeficiency condition. In the case of those aged under 55, evidence of one of the listed conditions needs to be confirmed by presenting a Schedule V Control Card or a recent medical certificate.

Those who have already registered for the free vaccination at their local council will be informed when the vaccinations will take place.
