After having read Fr Joe Borg's reply to my letter (The Sunday Times, February 21), I just wanted to clarify two small points so as to avoid any confusion or misunderstanding.

The ferial lectionary that Fr Borg is referring to was published in 1981, almost 30 years ago, whereas in my letter I was referring to the revised edition of the lectionary, which was started in 2008. Up to now, the Interdiocesan Commission for the Liturgy published the three volumes of the Sunday lectionary, meaning Years A, B and C, covering all the Sunday Masses readings and I firmly repeat what I wrote (January 31), namely that the word immankati does not feature in any part of the lectionary.

A revised edition of the ferial lectionary which is read throughout weekday Masses mentioned by Fr Borg will be available by the end of this year.
