Four Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner this week.

Sliema Wanderers were the worst hit. They had defender Branko Nisevic and midfielder Roderick Bajada both sanctioned after a fourth yellow card in last Sunday's 3-0 defeat to Floriana.

Nisevic and Bajada will now skip the Wanderers' next match against Marsaxlokk on January 11.

Jonathan Holland was banned after he was sent off late in the first half of Saturday's 2-2 draw against Msida St Joseph. The Birkirkara defender will now skip his team's clash with Qormi on January 4.

Andre Rocha Da Silva was the other player to be banned.

The Msida midfielder will sit out his team's match against Floriana, also on January 4.
