Four age group records were established during last Sunday’s time-trial meet at the National Pool, Tal-Qroqq.

The new marks all came from Neptunes swimmers, namely, Matthew Zammit (twice), Neil Muscat and Amy Micallef.

Zammit’s Group C records were registered in the 50m freestyle (previous: 26.17 – new: 25.55) and 100m freestyle (57.42 – 56.99) and Muscat’s new mark came in the Group B 50m backstroke (34:05 – 33.01).

Micallef swam the 100m breaststroke in 1:21.39 (old mark: 1:22.77).

During the time-trial meet, Mark Galea, vice-president and chairman of the Aquatic Sport Association Swimming Board, presented trophies to the winners of last season’s Swimming League.
