The course is being held every Thursday for eight weeks from October 5-November 9 from 10 a.m. to noon. There is an administration fee of Lm1.50 per session

The course will help participants develop creative and critical thinking techniques that are essential to meet the challenges of living in a technologically oriented, multicultural world.

The skills will help participants deal with everyday activities, like helping their children in school work, looking after the household and making better decisions.

Weight reduction programme

Those who applied for the weight reduction course should note that the date has been changed from tomorrow to Monday, October 2, from 5.45-8 p.m.

English Basic Skills Course Level One and Two

Every Friday, starting on October 6, from 9 a.m. to noon the NCW is holding these course at NCW Centre in conjunction with the adult Education Section of the Education Division.

It gives women who dropped out early in their education, and who have thus left school without getting any certificate, a second chance to improve their English. Classes will be held once a week.

The fee for administration, handouts and coffee is Lm1 per session.

English Course Level Three

Starting on Tuesday, October 3, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the NCW Centre, the course is being held once a week until May. The fee for administration, handouts and coffee is also Lm1 per session.

Computer Awareness Course

Would you like to learn how to use a computer? Now is your chance. Join other NCW members for this 14-week course. The fee is Lm20, which covers course materials and tuition.

Computer ECDL starter course

This 14-week course covers four modules of ECDL. The course fee is Lm20, which covers course materials and tuition.

Visit to St Agatha's Crypt Museum and church

The N.C.W. is organising an interesting visit to St Agatha's Crypt Museum and church, Rabat, followed by refreshments at the Buskett Roadhouse on October 21 from 10 a.m. Fr Victor J. Camilleri, MSSP, historian and author of several Melitensia books, will be the guide during the visit.

The price of Lm4 includes entrance to the crypt and museum and a light lunch. Transport is available at an extra charge.
