LCCI courses on campus

The International School of Languages (ISL), which forms part of the Malta University Holdings Company and based at the Guzè Cassar Pullicino Building on campus, has recently become a centre for London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) international qualifications, including business English, finance, business administration, marketing, customer service, information technology, teacher training and international languages.

At the end of March, ISL is organising the LCCI First Certificate in Teaching Business English (FTBE) and a train the trainer course. The courses will be led by John Hughes and held at the University.

FTBE is appropriate for qualified teachers of general English who wish to gain a supplementary specialist teaching qualification in English for business purposes. It cover aspects of business concepts and practice, pro-fessional skills and methodology and materials.

The 'train the trainer' course will look at what is needed to be able to adapt materials for training, the skills needed as a trainer and provide practical examples on how to implement training.
