October 7 – 8, MORE4NRG Seminar 2010, Pescara.
With the 20-20-20 goals now incorporated in the Europe 2020 Strategy, the EU is pursuing an ambitious climate and energy policy leading to sustainable territories. Sustainable territories however, can only be achieved if all regional and local stakeholders make calculated efforts through intra-regional cooperation.
Intra-regional cooperation is crucial for regions, cities and municipalities and sets out a new way of thinking for better quality of life and well-being. This form of cooperation, although local or regional, will serve as a model for the creation of sustainable territories at the European level.
