Former Din l-Art Ħelwa president Simone Mizzi was elected to the executive board of the International National Trusts Organisation (Into), a leading authority on the work and philosophy of national trusts around the world.

The election of new executive committee members took place at the 16th International Conference of National Trusts held in Cambridge, England.

“Into connects a global network of national trusts with a powerful brand that inspires and attracts members and supporters the world over. It represents well over seven million people. DLĦ was a founding member in 2007. It will be a privilege to play a role in shaping its future and representing DLĦ and, through it, Malta.”

Ms Mizzi will be serving with Dame Fiona Reynolds, former director general of the National Trust for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, who was elected to chair, succeeding founding president Simon Molesworth, who recently visited Malta and was made honorary life member of DLĦ.
