Eighty-five agreements were signed or ratified with other countries in the past 26 months, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said. Aimed at boosting relations and strengthening political and economic ties with other countries, they included 19 on double taxation; two on visa abolition; five on cooperation in health; six on culture, education and science; three on investment and protection; eight on drugs and organised crime; one on air services and one on tourism. The remaining 40 were miscellaneous treaties.
