• The Physically Handicapped Rehabilitation Fund in Paola informs its members and clients that the centre will be closed until tomorrow. It will reopen on Tuesday.

• The Richmond Foundation’s next self-help group meetings for those experiencing mental health difficulties will be held on Wednesday and on January 20 from 5.30 to 7 p.m. at 16, Antonio Agius Street, Floriana.

The Never Mind Leisure Centre at St Augustine’s parish hall, Valletta, is also open every Monday from 5.30 to 7 p.m. The centre, managed by the foundation, welcomes all individuals who would like to make friends in a safe, fun and creative environment.

• A card party in aid of the Little Sisters of the Poor will be held at the Preluna Hotel, Sliema, on January 12 from 10 a.m. For booking, call Blanche Martin on 2133 0387.

• Caritas co-operators are holding a day at the Plaza Hotel, Sliema, on January 12. There will be a talk, followed by Mass by Mgr Victor Grech and a buffet lunch.

Card games will be played and tea and coffee will be served. The event will start at 10.30 a.m.
